Mr. Curt Twilley

Mr. Twilley was born and raised in Salisbury, Md and attended Pinehurst as a child for grades K-6. He then attended Bennett Middle and Senior High School. Mr. Twilley Graduated from Salisbury University with his Bachelor's Degree in Education. He later received his Masters of Education Degree also while attending Salisbury University.

Cindy Becker

Ms. Cindy Becker

Ms. Becker is proud to be a product of the Wicomico County Public School System.  She graduated from James M. Bennett High School and went on to receive a BA in Psychology and a Certificate of Early Childhood Education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.  She later earned a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Salisbury University.

In her years as an educator, Ms. Becker has taught in Buffalo, NY, as well as Chipman Elementary, Beaver Run School, the Wicomico Early Learning Center, and Westside Primary School.  She was honored as the Wicomico County Primary School Finalist for Teacher of the Year for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school years.  Her eight years of teaching at Beaver Run and the Wicomico Early Learning Center were some of the most rewarding of her career; she is excited to continue her dedication to Beaver Run in her role as Assistant Principal.  Ms. Becker believes that every child can experience success and strives to cultivate a lifelong love of learning in the students with whom she works.

Parris Abt

Ms. Parris Abt

Mrs. Abt is proud to have been raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, growing up outside of Cambridge. She attended Dorchester County Public schools and later graduated from Salisbury University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She continued her education receiving a master's in Differentiated Instruction and later her administrative certification. After graduation, Mrs. Abt went back to teach in Dorchester County at Sandy Hill Elementary where she taught Pre-K through 3rd grade. She was nominated as a First-Class teacher of the Year as well as Teacher of the Year during her time in Dorchester. Mrs. Abt is excited to take on her new role with Wicomico County Public schools and bring her experience and love of learning to Beaver Run. She believes that all students can, will and must learn without exception. It is our job as educators to build the fire and passion for learning that will last a lifetime.
