Ms. Christina Stewart is a proud product of Wicomico County Public Schools. She attended the Fruitland schools and graduated from Parkside High School in 2005. She then received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Biology from Salisbury University in 2010. Post-graduation, Ms. Stewart pursued an additional certification in Early Childhood Education. In 2015, she received a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Salisbury University. Ms. Stewart began her career teaching 1st Grade at Westside Primary and served the Westside community for six years. She then became an Elementary Literacy Professional Development Coach at the Wicomico Early Learning Center, Beaver Run Elementary and East Salisbury Elementary for one year. She served as Assistant Principal at Fruitland Intermediate for three years. Ms. Stewart is excited to be back in the Westside community as Principal of Westside Intermediate School effective July 1, 2020. In Ms. Stewart's spare time, she enjoys running her organization I AM by Christina Stewart, which was established in 2019. The organization provides girls with a safe space to build self-esteem. In addition, she gains fulfillment by volunteering her services to the community and church, and spending time at the beach.

Ms. Heather Cherry is a proud graduate of Wicomico County Public Schools. I attended Glen Avenue Elementary, Wicomico Middle School, and graduated from Parkside High School in 2004. I received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2008 and a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in History in 2012 from Salisbury University. In 2016, I received a master’s degree in Reading Instruction, and in 2020, I received my administration certification from Wilmington University.

I began my teaching career at Beaver Run Elementary School, teaching first grade for three years. I then became a Reading Intervention teacher at Pinehurst Elementary School before returning to the classroom to teach 2nd through 4th grade. I proudly served the Pinehurst community for seven years before moving to Prince Street to teach special education.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my pugs, and running.
